Hiring for Summer Park Staff

We are starting to accept applications and conduct interviews for summer part time park attendant positions.  These positions are for the operation and maintenance of the WTMC owned park facilities during the summer recreational season.  They report directly to the Park Lead and may be directed by the Office Manager.  This is a “seasonal part-time” position.  Expect to work weekend shifts each week and may be required to work holidays including Memorial Day and July 4th.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Maintain a friendly attitude.
  • Enforce park rules.
  • Promote safety.
  • Check membership cards.
  • Cleaning and stocking bathrooms.
  • Raking and cleaning beaches.
  • Picking up and emptying garbage, including goose poop.
  • Filling out all paperwork required by position.
  • Landscaping.
  • Regular BBQ maintenance.
    Other duties as assigned by the Park Lead or Office Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must understand and follow directions.

Must be at least 16 years of age (on June 1st)

Must be a US citizen.

Must be willing to obtain current CPR/First Aid Card.

Must be able to swim.
