We are currently hiring a part-time facilities coordinator and multiple part-time summer park attendants. Descriptions below:
FACILITIES COORDINATOR
Reports To: Office Manager
General Function: Responsible for working with the Office Manager for the daily operation and maintenance of all WTMC owned facilities and real property.
Details: Position is non-exempt part-time, on-call for maintenance emergencies. Expect more hours during the summer months when facilities have heavier usage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of all park facilities.
- Identify and oversee all routine maintenance and repair work of park facilities throughout the year.
- Work with the Architectural Chair for compliance with governing documents on all submitted architectural plans.
- Work with Office Manager to manage Green Belts, address member inquiries and assess concerns.
- Assist in the general management of WTMC assets.
- Maintain a clear line of communication with the WTMC office as to the status of all assets,
- Other duties as assigned by office manager at the direction of the Board of Trustees.
- Develop and ensure a routine task list for all items requiring manpower.
- Is responsible for maintaining quality levels of services as established or approved by the Board of Trustees.
- Work with Office Manager to oversee qualified bids for all projects. Schedule, negotiate and project manage all capital improvement projects for roads, parks and water facilities, or grounds maintenance. Evaluate benefits of doing the work in house or seeking outside vendors.
- Support the Office Manager in the development and implementation of the Association’s operating plan.
- Make recommendations and oversee public works issues such as road repairs, park improvements, and expansion, common areas and facility maintenance.
- Work with the Violations Committee as an ad hoc member to report and support incidents and violations of CCR’s.
- Could spend time doing greenbelt maintenance (brush cutting, ivy trimming, etc.) if more hours are desired with supervisor approval.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Needed for Success:
A self-starter, proven ability to do maintenance/repair work (preferred basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and landscaping). Basic computer skills (email, word processor, etc.), volunteer support, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to interpret and administer the association’s operating documents, ability to be insured to drive company vehicle, ability to swim, maintain valid first aid and CPR certificates. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a regular basis. Be able to use a step stool or ladder.

SUMMER PARK ATTENDANT
We are starting to accept applications and conduct interviews for summer part time park attendant positions. These positions are for the operation and maintenance of the WTMC owned park facilities during the summer recreational season. They report directly to the Park Lead and may be directed by the Office Manager. This is a “seasonal part-time” position. Expect to work weekend shifts each week and may be required to work holidays including Memorial Day and July 4th.
JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain a friendly attitude.
- Enforce park rules.
- Promote safety.
- Check membership cards.
- Cleaning and stocking bathrooms.
- Raking and cleaning beaches.
- Picking up and emptying garbage, including goose poop.
- Filling out all paperwork required by position.
- Landscaping.
- Regular BBQ maintenance.
Other duties as assigned by the Park Lead or Office Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must understand and follow directions.
Must be at least 16 years of age (on June 1st)
Must be a US citizen.
Must be willing to obtain current CPR/First Aid Card.
Must be able to swim.
